Hello @Juan_Carvajal_Sephora , ideally the Get sheet activity could have helped achieving your use case, but there seems to be a defect for it does not let you opt for downloading as a file (excel/pdf).
I found out a work around for you though. You can go to Invoke Method
>Create Sheets Emails
and send it over to your own inbox as an excel file.
From there, I believe you can download the attachment or have the workflow consume the file further for your automation?
Attaching a short clip for your reference.
Please let me know if I was able to answer your question or if you need any other help.
I’ll validate that and let you know the results.
Thank you for your answer
Hello, thank you again for the guide.
I was able to replicate it but the email takes a long time to be sent by Smartsheet or is not stable (Success message but email never comes).
We will continue using UI to download the file until Download sheet activity is added.
For everyone else:
Missing details of Add to Collection activity
Thanks for your reply @Juan_Carvajal_Sephora .
It does send an email with the attachment in my case though. May be an account specific issue then.
That said, we will try to prioritize the Download sheet method in our next iteration.
Regards,
