Did you have same issues on MS Office 2016? - Outlook / Excel

안녕하세요

I have some problems when i use UiPath studio and robot.
UiPath를 사용하면서 몇가지 문제사항이 있어 이 글 오립니다.

We use Outlook and Excel in Uipath for robot scenario.
Robot 시나리오 상에서 Outlook과 Excel을 점검, 사용하는 부분이 있습니다.

It is okay when execute scenario befor 2~3days, but now, it doesn’t execute any scenario. T^T
2~3일 전까지는 해당 시나리오가 잘 진행이 되었는데 특정 순간부터 에러가 발생하며 시나리오가 진행되지 않고 있습니다.

A typical problems are these.

  1. Outlook - Get outlook mail messages : The specified folder does not exist
  2. Excel - ‘Unable to cast COM object of type ‘Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.ApplicationClass’ to interface type ‘Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel._Application’. This operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID ‘{000208D5-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}’ failed due to the following error: Error loading type library/DLL. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80029C4A (TYPE_E_CANTLOADLIBRARY)).’

I saw some Q&A about these erorrs through google for solving problems.
구글링을 통해서 해당 에러에 대해 여러 가지 문서를 찾아봤지만…

And I tried to solve these issues through Q&A, but i failed.
I checked folder field in ‘Get outlook mail messages’ activity and registry for excel problem. finally, I reinstalled MS Office 2016.
모두 실패했습니다. 액티비티의 폴더를 바꿔보기도, 레지스트리를 점검해보기도 했고 결국 office를 재설치했지만 해당 문제는 동일하게 발생하네요…

Anyway, anyone has solving these problems?
혹시 여러 구글링을 통해서도 이처럼 해결이 안되었던 케이스들이 있었는지 궁금합니다.

Welcome to UiPath forum

Try with these work arounds

  1. Run outlook as administrator and check once
  2. If you have mentioned Account Property in outlook activity pls remove that and give a try
  3. Finally try upgrading mail packages
    Go to Design tab → manage packages → All Packages-> search mail package and upgrade the version the give a try
