Deal with internet explorer pop up for downloading file

i have the same scenario.
i hv to download a file and then manipulate it.
i just followed ur instructions given above.but i m getting the error.

please suggest.

normally i m getting this option after clicking on a button.pls suggest how to handle this as well??
