Data Manager License

Hi,
I have following questions regarding UiPath Document Understanding:

  1. How can we get Data Manager credentials to Retrain ML model on AI Fabric?
  2. Do we need Document Understanding license for that?
  3. Does on cloud AI Fabric have Data Manager preview available? If yes, how can I access it?

Background:
I’m working on Document Understanding and I’m using ML model from AI Fabric (on cloud enterprise trial) to extract data from Invoices.
I’m using Machine Learning Extractor Trainer activity to retrain the model with human validated data. I understand that I need to upload zipped output folder (returned by trainer activity) to Data Manager.

I also understand that I need to install Docker for Data Manager. I’ve done that too but I need credentials to run this command “docker login aiflprodweacr.azurecr.io -u -p <password” and get Data Manager.
So again my question is that how can we get those credentials and Do we need to buy any license for that?

Hello @Maryum_Siddique,

  1. please reach out to your UiPath representative to get access to either the preview Data manager in Cloud AIF , or credentials for the standalone version.
  2. yes, custom ML models will require DU licenses to be run out of your cloud or local AIFabric installation.
  3. yes, all you need to do is join the Insider Preview program for DM on AI Fabric. Again, pls reach out to your UiPath contact for this :slight_smile:
