Data driven testing with data that constantly changing in the Excel file

Hello everyone,

I’m currently using DDT on my tests by extracting values from Excel file.
That Excel file extracts it’s values from a data base successfully.
The thing is that after each run of the test the excel file needs to get new values from data base and then use the new values in the next test run.
To do so I need to manually click “Update Test Data” on that test and each one of the tests that uses DDT but that is not an option for our project, we need it to be able to update automatically in between runs because:
a) for orchestrator scheduled purposes.
b) there are going to be a lot of tests, it is not doable to update the data manually on each one of them.

Is there an option to make it update automatically? Or maybe an idea to do this otherwise?

Thank You
