Control F not selecting the search on Chrome after the latest update (87.0.4280.66)

Hello,

I am using control f to search a word on Chrome which was working fine until the latest chrome update 87.0.4280.66 where it is only highlighting the selected search (in yellow) and not selecting it.

This latest version of chrome is released on 17th November 2020.

Has anyone faced this issue? Do we have any workaround for the same?
