Build your first automation - First Automation using Microsoft Office

Hi,

Very nice tutorial. For the final step I find an error that seems impossible.
When I try to launch the automation I get the following message
“Could not load file or assembly ‘UiPath.CodedWorkflows, Version=23.2.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null’. The system cannot find the file specified.”

Do you have any suggestion ?

Really intresting guidance into RPA for starter like me. Instruction were bit fast for someone like me hows native isnt english but pause button solved that. Maybe for future videos there could be common problem solution addition to main guide. Everything else worked for me however when I try to publish this automation an run it I get the following error “Could not load file or assembly ‘UiPath.CodedWorkflows, Version 23.2.0.0, culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null’ defined file could not be located”. I am using StudioX community. Is there any solution for this?

The email address referenced in the video - no-reply@uipath.com is not the same one that sends you the invoices in the first step.

automation-first@uipath.com is the email.

Please consider updating the training video to reflect this!

Thank you

Hi, I would also be interested in a solution to this problem. It seems that there are no properties to prepare the excel input or the pdf output, regarding the pdf output on two pages. I would be grateful for any suggestion.
Thank you, Matthias

Figuring things out with StudioX was very entertaining.

When I save the Excel as PDF, the PDF is saved in two separate pages instead of one.
Gotta figure that one out.

Thank you so much!! I did not realize that .

Worked Great so far. thank you

Tutorial was useful. Good that one could pause it. The inconvenience if watching via laoptop i shte need to constantly switch and enlarge the recorded video - more user-friendly if the video could be expanded within the browser and not only in full screen mode. Some slight changes were there between the Studio X version recorded and used, thus few times had to improvise with another functionality to get to the same outcome (came up to my mind to use an alternative). Good to mention to clear out all files from the folders or make it an embedded robot function - will speed up testing. Overall, I am quite happy with the training so far.

Hello. I have taken the first steps to save the invoices, as mentioned in the video, and I still get this error:

I can’t figure out what’s wrong. The mails are in the Inbox.

Interesting exercise.

where to submit the mail to get the mail from automation-first@uipath.com

hi, I have an problem on activity-for each mail, my inbox can not be connected, as below, any one any help?

Hi I could not complete this exercise because I could not submit my-email address for getting invoice attachment because of UiPath error. Someone can forward invoices’ mails to my e-mail address (ertegeshow16@gmail.com.tr) please? I really like to complete this exercises and experience this process fully?

Not sure how many other videos issue presents in but wanted to point out the closed captioning for the video under part 2 of the ‘First automation using Microsoft office’ course keeps referencing google and google products but the vid itself shows the user selecting microsoft products

Hi, I find the training easy to follow, the only hiccup I came across was the Text to Left/Right, I did not have the same options as indicated on the video. This was a bit frustrating since I wasn’t able to get the results as expected.
