Best Practices for Managing and Monitoring UiPath Orchestrator Infrastructure

Hi everybody,

I’m in the process of streamlining my organization’s server infrastructure for both our test and production UiPath Orchestrator environments. I understand the necessity of routine checks and robust monitoring to ensure smooth operation, but I would love to learn from your collective experiences.

Here are a few questions I would greatly appreciate your insights on:

  1. From your experience, what are the key routine checks that should be incorporated into server administration for UiPath Orchestrator to preempt issues?

  2. In regards to server and application monitoring, which metrics and logs have you found to be the most indicative of the Orchestrator’s health and performance, and which can be considered ‘fluff’ and less critical?

  3. When configuring the Event Viewer for UiPath Orchestrator, which events have you identified as crucial to be alerted about, and which are typically non-essential?

  4. Could you share any proactive steps or best practices you’ve adopted to maintain good IT health for Orchestrator? This might include specific performance optimization tasks, redundancy plans, security protocols, or any maintenance routines.

Looking forward to your advice on establishing a solid, efficient, and proactive approach to managing the Orchestrator infrastructure that ensures reliability and peak performance of our RPA initiatives.
