We are planning to create a pool of our automation license, where any process would get executed on any bot license whichever is available. There is query that we have, is it possible for stop one bot in a pool of license without disconnecting it from the pool.
Yes, it is possible to stop one bot in a pool of licenses without disconnecting it from the pool. Here’s how you can do it:
Locate the robot you want to stop and click on the three dots icon on the right side of the row. Select “Stop Job” from the dropdown menu.
This way, you can stop the execution of one specific robot while leaving it available for other processes to use. Once you’re ready to resume using the robot, you can simply start a new job or queue an item for it to execute.
you can create a lot of robots with the same machine or different machines without disconnecting it from the pool. but it depends on how many runtime licenses you have if you want them to run jobs simultaneously.
for example:
you have 1x runtime license and you have 3 Unattended Robots rpa1,rpa2 and rpa3.
rpa1, rpa2 and rpa3 run a job with slightly different times then rpa1 will have job state = running and the others will be pending. when the first job finish, the 2nd job will be running from pending and so on.
this scenario only can work on the Modern folder and floating machine.
