When trying to open the Open Form Designer, I get the following error box:

I do have .NET installed in my machine:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could you please check the dot net version through Registry Editor:

I’m afraid that you do not have the .net framework installed. The 2nd provided print screen proves more that the ClickOnce Bootstrapper is installed, and not .net framework …

Did you click Yes to download the version the UiPath wants, and then install it as an administrator?

Form Designer not opening when Project set as Windows

As I know, you should install .NET Desktop Runtime 5.0 (x64) in order to be able to open Form Designer as a Windows project. Are you having .NET Desktop Runtime 5.0 (x64) installed on the impacted machine? Try to install it, then restart the machine and let us know if this helped you. Release notes: https://docs.uipath.com/activities/docs/release-notes-uipath-form-activities

Please check and update:

1. the UiPath.Form.Activities to the latest version
2. Your NET desktop runtime to have at least 5.0 version

Thank you. Sorry, I’m still having the same problem.

I’ve checked my UiPath (Enterprise Edition) at my work computer and it gives me the same error box and I know that I haven’t removed anything from that computer.

Hi, I got this issue (UiPath.OutOfProcessUi.ServerHost.exe) when trying to use Forms activities(v.1.9.6) and I just followed this topic with no solution. I’ve found UiPAth redirects you to .Net runtime v.5 and finally I’ve solved by installing the whole .Net v.5 version instead. I post it JIC, to help anyone else HUG!

I’m afraid you must you have to remove .net desktop runtime, restart your machine, and install the latest available .net desktop runtime
