Are you getting this error message right on opening assistant?

Or after you try to do something in there or make connection?

Is your bot connected with Git repository?
if yes - create a new folder and make it as destination

Hi @ckshowebay

Rebuild/Refresh Workflow: This error can be caused by temporary issues or corruption in workflows. Rebuilding parts of the workflow or recreating variables/arguments can help resolve it.
Or
Clear Cache: Clearing the UiPath Assistant cache or restarting UiPath can also fix the issue.

Happy Automation!

Neither. The error message usually appears after I leave my computer for a while and return to find it on the screen. However, when I try to relaunch it, the error does not appear.

My bot is not connected with Git repository. Thank you for your help.

@ckshowebay

Could you please check the event viewer logs when this error shows up on assistant, that will help identifying what happened at the application/system level which led to this exception.

Also, Can you try if exiting out of the assistant helps, so it keeps running in background.

I have the exact same issue, It does not affect the unattended robots runtime. They still run when the trigger activates but the popup keeps showing up in the assistant every few seconds. The most recent update didn’t fix the issue. In my case I already uninstalled it and reinstalled it and keeps on showing. Any help is well appreciated

Could you help me identify which workflow is causing the issue in UiPath? I’ve tried clearing the cache and restarting UiPath Assistant, but the problem remains. What steps can I take to pinpoint the problematic workflow?

@ckshowebay

Which UiPath version u are using?
Are you on community or enterprise license?

Studio 2025.0.167-cloud.20193 - 5/21/2025
Community License
User-mode Installation

License Provider: Orchestrator

Microsoft Windows 11 Home 64-bit
8.0.15

Any progress on this? I’m having the same issue for multiple projects on different machines.

I’ve tried clearing the cache folder which I saw on a different post, but no difference.

I’m sorry to say that we’re still experiencing the same issue persistently, and unfortunately, we haven’t found a resolution yet. We’re continuing to look for solutions, so any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for checking in!

Looks like this error started popping up for few users after recent update on community version.

We have seen few users complaining about this issue, but root cause has not been identified yet.

@loginerror may be you can shed some light on this issue that is affecting the community version users.

That is correct, after the latest update I started having this issue

Is there a fix for this error??

Hi @Hugo_Leonardo_Rodriguez_D

As of know, I have not come across the exact resolution on this error.

However, you can try updating your robot and see if this resolves the issue for you.

Hello.
After an update, I’m experiencing the same problem. Some days, the Assistant window even closes. I’ve noticed it also displays the error attached at the bottom of the window:
Apps has encountered a problem. Try updating the list or contact your Automation Department if the problem persists.
Any ideas?

Try these approaches:

Approach #1
Try the current 2025.0.167 Enterprise version from https://download.uipath.com/UiPathStudioCloud.msi

Approach #2

  • Upgrade the Autopilot for Everyone in the AI Trust Layer to the latest version in your tenant
  • Access the Web version of UiPath Assistant at https://cloud.uipath.com/YOUR_ORG_NAME/assistant_/?tenant=YOUR_TENANT_NAME

Example:
