Adobe PDF on IE Frame / Window / Pop-Up (Adobe Acrobat Reader as Adobe Application)

I’m using a web application on IE where a PDF is opened via an IE frame / pop-up. When I save PDF from that window (via shortcut CTRL+S), the save as window differs between different environments. One one environment, it is Save As under iexplore container but in another environment it is Save a Copy under acrord32 container. Hence automation fails due to selector issue. Is there a setting that needs to be toggled in IE or in Adobe?

Someone had a similar issue and posted in Abode forum: Save As vs Save as copy when saving a file on IE - Adobe Support Community - 10645977

@ivandiaz

This depends on the versions I believe…instead one work around for you can be to use check app state to check for existance of both kinds of windows and then proceed with which even is found…

You can leverage parallel activity as well to do the check simultaneously

Hope this helps
