Activation Error | No application is associated with the specified file for this operation

Hello,

I downloaded UIPATH yesterday and I am trying to activate it on my system but whenever I try to activate this Community edition it throws a warning with message: No application is associated with the specified file for this operation

Just to note that I am using the same email id to activate which I used when downloading the setup.

I also copied the full error message which I am copying below:

Did you try uninstalling and installing it again?

Hello @Lahiru.Fernando, I uninstalled it, downloaded it again and then installed as Administrator but still the same error.

One thing which I want to mention it is that I installed it at my office system first and then at my home system.
After getting this error, I completely removed it from my office system but again the same error at my home system.

It will hopefully provide some insights to your struggle.

From myself, I would make sure there is no two copies of Studio on the same machine (Enterprise and Community Edition). I would also make sure all paths for Studio are cleared after uninstall.
