User A is not able to link an asset from a folder, because it is already linked to another folder (for example to User B workspace) and the user A has no access to user B personal workspace.

Issue Description: User A is not able to link an asset from a folder, because it is already linked to another folder (for example to User B workspace) and the user A has no access to user B personal workspace.

Below error is encountered when linking an asset from one folder, which is linked to another folder:
"You don't have AssetsEdit permissions in folder XXXXXXXXXXX's workspace. (#1017)"


Workaround:

  • In the personal workspace section, select the three dots next to the workspace which is throwing the error and select Start Exploring.


This will give the rights to explore the workspace and work with assets which are linked to other workspaces also.
