Why do we need UiPath License?

Hello everyone!
I want to know why do we need UiPath license?
It is already providing community version then why people will pay cost for licensing ?
Is there any difference between license and community version ?

I have already read the docs of UiPath licensing but I don’t find it differentiate.

Can someone please help me out with this confusion ?

why do we need UiPath license?

To do everything in UiPath like Develop bot, Run bot, Schedule bot to run etc. you will require some sort of license.

Community license is very limited compare to enterprise license. For example you will have only one Unattended, Attended type license.

Long story short : Community edition is just for exploring, learning, do personal automation which are non commercial. If you need anything beyond these, Enterprise license is the only option.

There is no difference between license type but there is difference about number of licenses provided/available.

If you want to automate any task or process for a client or company you will require Enterprise license. Any automation which is not learning or exploring purpose you will require a paid license.

@mohamedalthaf Yes, the community & Enterprise has the same set of activities what you see But few differences are like Community is intended to use for learning purpose not for Production purpose, why because always Community version is upgraded with the new packages and not stable for Production purposes You will get support from UiPath if you have any issues, but Community users won’t get any support Hope this may help you Thanks, Srini

The main difference between the Community and Enterprise editions of UiPath is the level of support, scalability, and security offered, after buying Enterprise license, we can easily connect with UiPath Support team, They will also recommend other products with respect to our requirements. And also as a business if we need more than one unattended bot within one domain or tenant then it is only possible with Enterprise version.

In terms of Version control:
It is also more stable with compare to community, cause In community your UiPath studio will update every month with beta updates automatically…!
