When creating variables

Hello, I am a user of UiPath Studio 2025.0.167 STS Community Edition.

In the latest Community Edition, it is no longer possible to copy and paste strings via the clipboard from a text editor when creating variables in the Data Manager. I remember being able to do this in the past. Under the current specifications, development efficiency is reduced, so I would like to request UiPath corp. to restore this spec to the past.
Last but not least, I appreciate your attention to my request.

I’ve just tested this on my machine and I’m getting the same Issue.

Can’t paste neither in the variable name or the default value, same for arguments.
If I open the expression editor then it works, but that adds multiple unnecessary clicks that aren’t needed in previous versions or LTS versions.

Can you please try to use classic method activities for now to create variables.

Try this hope it works for now.

Sorry, since I am accustomed to use modern design activities,your proposal is unacceptable.

I directly reported this to the product team for Studio a few days ago as I also do this and hadnt seen this post at that point.

Its an unintended side affect of doing some merging of the data manager panel to try to give a more unified experience and I think they are considering it a bug and will try to make the copy behaviour consistent compared to the old panel.
