I’m trying to perform an click activity on the Sign button for Adobe Acrobat Reader. But when i attempt to indicate element it highlight the whole toolbar instead of that individual button that i required as shown below. I have tried this with verions 2020, 2017 but to no avail.
Have you tried with modern click activity or CV click Activity ?

modern activities didn’t help, back to ground zero.
CV click was possible but takes such a long time to process a click action by what used to take a second or two at most.
This issue only started after the recent studio upgrade.
This is the Explorer screenshot of the previous click
As what can be seen, i am able to select the individual icon previously before the studio upgrade
Under UiExplorer it being indicated by the Ctrl Name = “Sign” button idx=‘1’
Is there anyway i can manually “force” a click action to select the individual icon?
I can’t use image detection as sometimes the icon is not visible depending on adobe’s window size.
I’ve tried Default, UIA & AA. Still can’t select the individual icon.
May i ask what version of Studio and Adobe you have installed?
Previously I’ve spent countless hours installing/uninstalling adobe to get this function to work. But now even after performing uninstalling/installing 2017, 2020, 19, 18 nothing seems to work.
Hello @MKF_Motor_Sdn_Bhd
Have you provided the application scope?? Try to record the actions using a App/web recorder.
Thanks
Yes i’ve tried recording, sadly doesn’t works either, unable to select that single “Sign” icon.
Ok…I think you are usign the modern activities. Can you draw around that button to select that area and provide a proper anchor. Hope that will work here.
Thanks
U can try the following:
Edit Target (click activity)
Check the circle (white dot) right above mousepointer
drag the circle (white dot) to the sign button
Result in Click activity properties under target
Created in 22.10.1 studio (Community Edition) with modern activities.
Hope this helps!
