Issue Overview

  1. Check Installed Packages
    Open your project in UiPath Studio.
    Go to the Manage Packages panel (accessible from the ribbon or by pressing Ctrl + P).
    Under the Project Dependencies tab, ensure the following packages are installed:
    UiPath.System.Activities
    UiPath.UIAutomation.Activities
    UiPath.WebAPI.Activities (if relevant)
    If any of these are missing, click All Packages or Official, search for them, and install.

  2. Update Dependencies
    In the Manage Packages panel, check if any of your existing packages have pending updates.
    Update UiPath.UIAutomation.Activities to the latest version for the Web/App Recorder functionalities.

  3. Enable Modern Design Experience
    Open your project settings:
    Go to Home > Settings > Design Settings.
    Ensure the Modern Design Experience is enabled. This feature is required for certain recording tools.

In the April release the recorder will be shown even if UIAutomation package is not installed.
