UiPath.UpdateService.Worker has stopped working & UiPath Studio won't open

Hello! Posting here because I can’t seem to find anything about this from Googling or searching here. I get this message every time I boot up or restart my PC and when I try to open UiPath Studio it just doesn’t open.

I see my PC start to open the UiPath Studio process in the Task Manager but then it just doesn’t open and the process disappears from Task Manager.

I’m thinking these are related since they occurred at the same time. Should I just uninstall and reinstall Studio or is there a different fix? I’m using the Community Edition.

Please check your Windows Schedule and review the permissions.
→ The best way I think is to reinstall under the user you are using.

Unfortunately I don’t know how to check my Windows Schedule to review permissions so it looks like I’ll just need to reinstall from scratch.

Kill UiPath process
Restart your machine
clear all cache
%localappdata%\UiPath

contact UiPath Support if you still facing the issue
