UiPath update failed.
The update for version 23.6.1-beta.13324 failed, causing the error: “Unknown (Msi Error 1603)”.

Its a typo I mean a new msi file or a installer from orchestrator

Did you mean I need to uninstall UiPath Studio from my system and then reinstall it from uipath.com?

First try downloading the latest msi and it generally prompts for update…if it does not then try re install only

Or if you have a detailed log please show that or try the update service again…it would prompt once more

But from where to download new msi??? I didn’t see any msi option in orchestrator.

From the main page you can download by clicking on download

or click on the question mark symbol on top…and select downloads …even from there it cna be downloaded

  1. Try running as admin(Try this after a restart)
  2. If first does not work…please uninstall the current version completely from control panel programs and features and then try installing fresh

The first option isn’t working.

So, if I uninstall the UiPath Studio, then will my old work also be deleted along with it???

Unless you specify to remove all the ui path related files also the process you created wont be deleted…only the application would be uninstalled…

If you still want to be cautious you can zip or save all of them separately and yhen can uninstall it

THE FIRST OPTION RUN ‘AS AN ADMINISTRATOR’ IS NOT ACTIVE.
CANNOT TICK THE CHECKBOX BESIDE THAT.
IT APPEARS GREY IN COLOUR, THAT MEANS, CHECK BOX AND DESCRIPTION AS ‘RUN AS AN ADMINISTRATOR’ BOTH ARE INACTIVE, THAT IS WHY I AM UNABLE TO TICK ITS CHECKBOX.

I’m not sure if relevant, but it looks like the specific environment restrictions might be at fault here, as per this error from the logs:

Error 1402. Could not open key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION. System error 5. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel. MSI (s) (88:F4) [14:57:22:501]: Product: UiPath Studio -- Error 1402. Could not open key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION. System error 5. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.
