UiPath Studio installation path

Hello community,

I’m quite new with this plattform and recently got to the first training. And I have a question the answer to which I cannot find in other topics.

Many articles of the training reffer to the folder “C:\Program Files (x86)\UiPath\Studio” (for example, this one: Managing Activities Packages).

But by me:

  • UiPath Studio was installed to “C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\UiPath”
  • There is no folder “Studio” (the file NuGet.config is located in “app-18.2.3” instead)

Does it make any difference? Went something wrong in my installation?
Technical details: UiPath Studio 18.2.3, Windows 10, .NET Framework 4.7.2.

Thank you very much in advance!

Hi @dapachev

Good news - nothing is wrong with your installation

The reason it is in your user folder is because it is the UiPath Community Edition.
The enterprise edition installs in Program Files.

As far as the functionality, there is no difference.
