UiPath community vs Uipath Enterprise

Dear team,

Functionality wise what are the differences between UiPath studio, robot, orchestrator community(trial) and enterprise(licensed) edition

@kavita

Studio is a development platform for design, execution, and debugging. I’m sure there’s more that I’m not aware of, but essentially it is a place where you can build and execute a bot from the ground up.

Orchestrator is a centralized robot management dashboard where you can easily deploy, secure, and manage your UiPath Robots at scale.

To learn more about how it all works, I would suggest creating an account on UiPath Academy and exploring various courses. It really is a great tool for learning anything:

I’ve also found the documentation portal to be extremely useful:

Good luck!

In addtion to the information provided by @dranderson21, here is a brief highlight of the differences between versions from UiPath.

The question was difference between community and enterprise and not between studio and orchestrator

The software is the same but from what I have searched myself on UiPath website the difference is that Community Edition will not be available with a phone or email support. Here you got to use the forums.

In the Uipath forum and othe forums i found that features like the below is not available in Community Edition(dont know if this is outdated though):

• Local hosting of UIPath Orchestrator server.
• Auto Start of UI Robot.exe which is used to connect to the Orchestrator server.
• The libraries which you download - nugget package manager will get deleted every time the tool asks you to activate it; this generally happens if you do not use the tool for a long time.

There is some more answers in this forum thread UiPath: Community, Enterprise & Installers

I hope the above helps.

That link just redirects me to my own CE platform account site. It does not take me to the comparison information. I just wonder why is it that it is such a struggle to get basic information from UiPath even though it makes the best RPA software. The other company I have pet peeves with like this is Tesla. They make the best cars but customer support, technical support is a lot left to be desired.

Well, one difference is that community is free while enterprise is fee based outside of the 60 day trial.

I personally like this breakdown between the two:

you cannot use community edition for your commercial projects and if you have a technical problem. you just can ask your problem on the forum only.

cheers

hello, can you please share the source url of the breakdown?
