UiPath Assistant Failed to install package

Hi,

I apologies in advance if this problem was asked much. I tried many solutions I found but everyone’s seems to find this problem in the studio and not the assistant.

I work in sales and I got asked to use this tool. Evertime I try to install the package it gives me this error:

The package is in the (C:)
I tried to restart the computer, and trying to close all the programs it did not work.

Welcome to the community

If you are corporate laptop there might be firewall blocks try disabling them or reach to your it team

We have only windows defender and can’t disable that.
The thing is all my colleagues have the app working on their computers and they have same one I have.
I do not think that is the reason, but to be sure what can I do to find out if it’s causing the problem?

Check your Event Viewer logs to see more details about your error.

Start → Event viewer → Windows Logs → Application

After checking the logs, we can say what may be your cause.
