Scenario: Start → Take screenshot → Save image → Excel application scope (To “Add Image” to excel sheet)
Steps to reproduce: Start → Take screenshot → Save image → Excel application scope (To “Add Image” to excel sheet)
Current Behavior: Error “Add Image : Object reference not set to an instance of an object.”
Expected Behavior: Image is added to Excel sheet
Studio Version: 2017.1.6522

Hi @datnt ,
Add image activity will work in word applications only but not for excel files.

Hi,
Add Image activity falls under word package (UiPath.Word.Activities.WordAddImage )
However you could try this.

I had tried both: i.e writing image to excel, and writing image to winword.
I am able to take screenshot, and save into winword file just as mentioned here:

It is working with my uipath studio. what version you are using. Due to backward compatibility sometimes you will get this with previous versions i guess but they are working to make mostly things backward compatible. i have raised some concerns which i have faced to them.
for now you can do "first update all packages then you will be able to see this activity?
if not then try this same upload i just opened with my studio and let me know now you are able to see or not?

Before I was using Community Edition, but later, I used a Trial version. I don’t know whether there is any different between these 2 versions.
