Hi all!
I’ve been working on a tool that automates actions inside a Flow Designer panel in Power Automate for Desktop (both MS Store aka MSIX and standalone MSI installer version). I know how weird it sounds, but I need to do this.
I have 2 separate Modern Activity UiPath flows that serve different purpose but use the same windows/selectors. In Flow 1 As soon as UiPath robot applies any UI Automation activity (Check App State, Use Application etc UI Explorer-based activities) to wnd app=‘pad.designer.exe’, the window of PAD Flow Designer gets locked up entirely, forcing me to use Task Manager to kill pad.designer.exe process. When I open UI Explorer on a non-locked up window of pad.designer.exe, UI Explorer locks up the entire system, however, it allows me to alt tab, Win+Tab or Ctrl+Alt+Delete, but does not actually open new windows or popups, does not allow me to kill any processes whatsoever.
Strangely, this does not happen in Flow 2 at all. Any ideas?
This is the spot when the UiPath locks up
