I’m using community cloud with Set transaction progress activity.
The activity went through, but progress string is not shown on transaction’s details

Using get-queue-item and log transaction.progress still return the progress string. But I kinda need it visible on Orchestrator to support maintenance
The progress string is typically associated with a specific status, such as “In Progress.” If the transaction status changes to “Successful” or “Failed” before the progress is updated, it may not be visible.
Which means u can change or update progress only if a item is in IN PROGRESS status

It was with Orchestrator 2019 and below that progress is only visible when status is “In progress”. But I’ve been using this progress for the last few years, it is always shown on Orchestrator even after we set status Successful or Failed. And it’s been great help for monitoring and maintenance.
And yes, I only update it when the item is in “in-progress” status, the activity was successful, it’s just that Orchestrator doesn’t show anything
It sounds like you are experiencing a bug in UiPath Orchestrator.

Now that I accept that all transaction progress is not displayed anymore (even progress of old transactions), I found out that we can now set value for Analytics Data and Output for all items (failed/successful).
This can be a workaround for transactions’s progress. The only inconvenience is that we have to wait until the process completes to see it. For anyone who cares, try UiPath.System.Activities 23.4.4
