Tester-Named User licenses not visible in Cloud and not available for allocation at Tenant level

Why are Tester-Named user licenses not visible and available for allocation at tenant level?

Issue Description:

The Support ID has Tester-Named User licenses allocated, but these licenses are not visible in the cloud account and cannot be allocated at tenant level.

Resolution:

Enabling user license management and assigning licenses at the group/user level. The Tester-Named user license is meant to be assigned to a user account to provide the right to use certain UiPath functionality or products.

The following steps need to be performed by an organization administrator:

  1. Enable user license management in Automation Cloud: Login to Automation Cloud > Admin > Settings > Advanced > Enable User License management.
  1. Log out of the Automation Cloud account and login again.
  2. Navigate to Admin > Licenses > User licenses. Tester-Named User license will be visible.
  1. The Tester-Named User license can be allocated either via explicit allocation to the user or a group rule so that the user can consume the license.
