Hello everyone, one of the end users ran into this error with Outlook. However I was able to run successfully on my computer. Has anyone have the same issue before? Any advice is appreciated!

Notes:

  • The end user’s outlook app is fully functioning when using manually
  • The end user’s outlook app has the exact same version as mine

hi @marian.platonov , I am facing this error when using this “Use Desktop Outlook App - Send Email” activity. This is with regard to the RPA Developer Foundation Course, building first process with Studio module.

Did you check the instructions from the raised error?
Try to close that file before running your automation.

I am having the same issue. Also using the RPA foundation tutorials. Here is some screen shots with the error code. Also, I do not have the full licensed version of outlook. Its the free online version. I am not paying money to use an email service I don’t need. I just need to figure out why it will read from the free version but not allow to write to it. Thanks for any input you may have.

Oh and I am actually using Studio. Not Studio X

First, check in Forum threads if someone else had this error already solved. If not raise a separate thread.
