Studio hangs when I copy paste activities within the workflow

Scenario: When I select an activity and click ctrl+C, the studio hangs for at least 10 secs, this happens every time I hit copy. It doesn’t matter even if it’s a small hello world message box.

Steps to reproduce: Create any workflow, press ctrl+C

Current Behavior: The studio hangs for at least 10 secs

Expected Behavior: Normal copy paste

Studio/Robot/Orchestrator Version: 2017.1 (this used to work fine with 2016.2)

Last stable behavior: Normally could copy paste
Last stable version: 2016.2
OS Version: happened in windows 10 home as well as windows 7
Others if Relevant: (workflow, logs, .net version, service pack, etc):

Hi Sunil,

I couldn’t reproduce on my Community Edition 2017.1.6435(Windows 10 Pro). The copy paste action(tried with ctrl+C & ctrl+X) works instantly, without studio freezing.

Have you tried it after a machine restart? Or you could check task manager, it may be related to memory consumption.

Experiencing the exact thing on:
Studio 2017.1.6255
OS Version: Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.

And this happened for about a month (so many times restart done each day), and nope this is new PC, I don’t think any problem with the memory consumption.

Same problem on 2019.10.2 Enterprise

in my case, this occurs while running another application in background. Try ending other applications and perhaps the freeze will stop.

Still happening in an Enterprise install of 22.10.4 studio. Anyone have any more updates on this, or confirmations if it is still happening to you and which version Studio you have?
