Step was not recorded successfully - drop down-menu in javaprogram

Hi,

When I use Recording against a Java applet/program and choose a drop down-menu
and there one item/value I must use Indicate Anchor but when I choose a Anchor I get Error “Step was not recorded successfully” I have tried with different Anchor but any working.

How can I do in UiPath to choose the menuvalue?
I try even with Screen Scraping but the menu hides automatic when I click on Screen Scraping.
The menu is an Hovermenu.

You can try to use delay by using fn+F2

So that it can introduce a 3 seconds delay before u can select item using screen scraping process

That is because you dropdown has disappeared while validating

You can try this

  1. Click for the menu

  2. Click the Submenu
    OR

  3. Click the menu

  4. hover inside the whole submenu (To hover you can do that manualy and right click on the dropdown list like the screen shot)

  5. and use another click activity on the submenu

Is this when I recording?

When I click the activity I get the Anchor-question that not work.

Maybe your solution works too so explain more about it.
