Send SMTP Mail Message through gmail is not working on my desktop and returning with error " No such host is known". Where as same workflow is working on my laptop with same mail id. what could be the reason?

Please check following setting.
SMTP server address: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP username: Your Gmail address (e.g. example@gmail.com)
SMTP password: Your Gmail password
SMTP port (TLS): 587
SMTP port (SSL): 465
SMTP TLS/SSL required: yes

Hi mate,
Make sure of following in SMTP-
- Port number for gmail- 465.
- sever address - βsmtp.gmail.comβ
- your email-id and password.
Check whether the IMAP is enabled in Gmail Settings

For me also same workflow is working in my laptop.
The same is not working desktop

SMTP username: Your Gmail address (e.g. example@gmail.com)
SMTP password: Your Gmail password
SMTP port (TLS): 587
it is 587
use port number 465

Please check ,is the less secure app access is enable or not in gmail setting.
Then you go forward to activity setting of SMTP.

I think itβs a browser mistake, so ensure that again, once again change that setting
