Sending mail_SMTP

Send SMTP Mail Message through gmail is not working on my desktop and returning with error " No such host is known". Where as same workflow is working on my laptop with same mail id. what could be the reason?

Please check following setting.

SMTP server address: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP username: Your Gmail address (e.g. example@gmail.com)
SMTP password: Your Gmail password
SMTP port (TLS): 587
SMTP port (SSL): 465
SMTP TLS/SSL required: yes

Hi mate,

Make sure of following in SMTP-

  1. Port number for gmail- 465.
  2. sever address - “smtp.gmail.com”
  3. your email-id and password.

For me also same workflow is working in my laptop.
The same is not working desktop

SMTP server address: [smtp.gmail.com]
SMTP username: Your Gmail address (e.g. example@gmail.com)
SMTP password: Your Gmail password
SMTP port (TLS): 587

Hii,
Please check ,is the less secure app access is enable or not in gmail setting.

Then you go forward to activity setting of SMTP.

I think it’s a browser mistake, so ensure that again, once again change that setting
