Selector clarification

Is aaname specific to UiPath?? And how does it generate aaname?
Because for the application on which I am working the aaname is different for same element in two environments( test and Production).

Hi,

You can omit the aaname attribute in that case or you can have wildcard “*” in aaname attribute.

No, it is not working with wildcard. Because there are other elements where the aaname is different and other attributes are same except idx. And I do not want to use idx.

Use for both dynamic selector I mean test & production environment
It will work.

ok and aaname value refers to which html tag for web based application??
