Select Item supported but doesn't select in a pdf form

Hi

I wanted to use select item on a pdf tax form. When i prepare the automation there’s no “unsupported” warning, the list loads into the Studio Activity but when I execute the code it breezes through without selecting anything.

I’ve read that this activity relies on simulate type and when I try type into editable fields in the same pdf file with simulate type i get a message that it is not supported. Can this be the reason that the select item activity is not working? Or maybe it’s something else?
