Runtime type -cannot start the job

Hi all,

I published a package into orchestrtator and can see the same in processes section but not in jobs section. Could someone help me what to be done with this.

When I am trying to start a job from the process page , this the screen that follows.

If I choose the machine as below, still runtime type remains blank. Could someone help me out with the same.

Hey,

you should create a robot, also a machine that you can assign an unattended license as you will need that license in order to run automations
follow this guide

Hi @Samanta_Cottackal

Go to Tenant-> Go to Machines-> Select the three dots → Click on Edit Machine-> Give the Unattended value to 1-> Save.
Go to the folder click on three dots-> Settings-> Assign Machines-> Assign the machine.
Come back Click on three dots-> Manage folder access-> type your machine name-> Assign all roles-> Click Assign.

Now try running the job. It should work.

Hope it helps!!

Click on Update
After that,

Click on Assign.

Hope it helps!!

Hi @Parvathy ,

After following these steps, I again tried to start the job. But, I got the following error(image 2)

@Samanta_Cottackal

  1. Please go to orchestrator-> tenants-> manage access → edit rrobot and give robot role and also provide credentials
  2. orchestrator-> tenants-> machines-> edit machine provide license and then save
  3. Also try to not select any machine and let it choose just to check

Cheers

Hi,

This is because you don’t have an unattended license assigned.
Setup unattended license for your machine in orchestrator and try running the job
