I’m using UiPath Studio in Windows 11
I’m trying to debug using Picture in picture but now I’m having issues trying to resize the “window”, I can’t find any controls for the Session that opened
it’s just full screen, I can’t even open other applications I had on the same monitor
I can only see the button to Leave the robot session
btw, I can resize it if I leave the Session, but every time I join it opens fullscreen again
Try to change in your project the PiP and find the one that better suits your needs.

Closes Picture in Picture mode instantly or Alt + Tab Switch to other windows (they run behind) Alt + Enter Toggle full-screen to windowed mode Windows key Access taskbar/Start menu “Leave robot session” button Exits debug completely. Why it happens: UiPath Picture in Picture defaults to full-screen when debugging starts. Windows 11 doesn’t provide resize handles in this mode.
Remember next time
Resize UiPath Studio window to 50-70% of the screen before starting Picture in Picture. Picture in Picture inherits the parent window’s size
Check UiPath Settings → Debugging → ensure “Full screen” is unchecked if that option exists
or if you you have same issue then
Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) → kill UiPath process Or restart the robot session from UiPath
