Robot disconnects from orchestrator after VDI gets updated(patch up)

VDI Team updates the VDI on a monthly basis. It is a mandatory activity. When this activity is performed, system will get rebooted. This will disconnected all connected applications like UiPath assistant, teams etc. We are planning for unattended automation but this issue is causing problem as the bot will fail stating Robot not connected to orchestrator. Wanted some help regarding this. Is there any way we can overcome this without having to manually login to UiPath orchestrator on a monthly basis?

i think that there is not option, you should connect your assistant manually, providing the right key machine to retrieve the right license to the machine

When you installed UiPath (ie Robot) on that server, did you select service-based install? It sounds like you didn’t, so it’s not running as a service and therefore not connecting after reboot.

I am having the same issue. Did you find any solution to this problem?
