Why does Remote Communication error occur when indicating on Citrix application ?

Pre - Requisites:

  • UiPath Remote Runtime should be installed on Citrix Server
  • Citrix Extension should be installed on the user's machine
  • Install UiPath.UiAutomation.Activities package compatible with UiPath Remote runtime version on Citrix server
  • Restart the Citrix Server and Citrix application after installing on the respective machines.

Resolution: Make sure to whitelist the below path on the Citrix Server.

  • %PROGRAMFILES%\UIPATH\REMOTERUNTIME\PACKAGES\UIPATH\22.10.46.47635\UIPATHREMOTE.EXE

Note: Version number 22.10.46.47635 can vary based on the installation. Make sure to whitelist the exact path.
