Record modification in UIpath Terminal session

Hi,
How can we record additional steps in UIpath Terminal session while working with AS400 server.

Let me explain scenario in detail .

  1. I have recorded AS 400 server login and sign-off
  2. I have executed the bot and it successfully performed the job
  3. I want add 2 more steps before sign off with in the existing bot (#2).
    How to invoke the record again? Kindly help me

Unless something changed, I don’t think you can get back to the recorder in the same terminal session. But, this was a while ago when I tried to use it.

What you can do, though, is get to the screen where you left off and do another recording, then move the extra steps over to your other session scope. And if that doesn’t work, then you would need to do the entire recorder again.

Or, just don’t use the recorder. You can search in activities for “terminal” and easily add in the steps you need. I believe the recorder should not be relied on, but only used as a starting tool, but that’s my opinion.

I hope this helps. - I would just drag the activities over and not use the recorder.
