Read Range Excel does not read actual displayed value, but formula instead

Hi there,

Context: I have an Excel file with 3 columns: Value, Discount and Total Value.
The cell “Total Value” is a formula (“Value” - “Discount of Value”).

Problem: when using Read Range workbook activity I am not getting the displayed value but the result of the formula instead. So, for example, instead of getting “970.78”, I am getting “970.77560800000003” which is not ok and is causing problems.

Any ideas in how to fix it? I have tried checking the “PreserveFormat” box but it did not solve it. Using the Excel Scope activities would not be ideal.

Use the Excel activities not the Workbook activities.

You can try format cell , format value
Or create template format in excel file
