Read Cursive Handwritten data in PDF

Hi,

I’m working on POC of robotics process automation (RPA) using UiPath. one of our requirement is to read text of scanned image from pdf. My workflow will be like this:

  1. Iterate through multiple email.So we will get multiple PDF files.
  2. Downloading scanned image of PDF from each email.
  3. Read handwritten data in PDF file.
    I tried all the OCR activities. But I’m getting garbage characters in place of handwritten data. I will attach sample data in PDF document. Can anyone help me on this please?

Please find out some paid OCR engines to extract these handwritten text.

No Free OCR will work for hand written text.

Hi,
I tried using microsoft azure vision. But, it takes image input only. And I tried using Abbyy cloud OCR. But I’m getting garbage characters in place of handwritten data. Could you please explain how to use ICR. I have installed trial version of Abbyy finereader.

I have not personally used ICR, only watched the webinar. That is why I suggested it, because it could potentially solve your problem, but I don’t know the specifics of it sadly.
