POP UP ERROR

Hello does anyone know how to get this pop up from coming up? It happens every time i run any of my projects and I do not have any Excels open at the time. I am new to UiPath so if you could please include step by step instruction and screenshots of what i need to do that would be great ty! :slight_smile: This is for Studio X

You can try these options in excel process scope for avoiding these errors…

Also before starting open task manager and check if any excel is open in background and close or kill them

Alternately you can select developer from Activities filter icon and search kill and use it before excel activity

Thanks but a few more queries… for this particular project i am not using any excels, nor do i have any excels open or running in the background (i already tried the task mgr thing before). this pop up error always happens at the very beginning, as soon as i hit “run” to run the bot, that pop up comes up a few secs later. So for the excel scope solution that you were suggesting, am i supposed to put that activity at the very beginning of my project? ty :slightly_smiling_face:

Yes please try keeping at the start

But ideally if you are not using then you should not be getting this
