「PiP の使用のテスト未実施」は何のためにある?

こんにちは
UiPath Studio 2025.0.161 Community edition

Please check the below link to know more about the differences

Assistant - Picture in Picture

  • Tested for PiP Usage; Starting in PiP - The automation has been approved to run in PiP mode. When run, it starts in PiP by default.
  • Tested for PiP Usage; Not starting in PiP by default - The automation has been approved to run in PiP mode. When run, it starts in the main session by default.
  • Not tested for PiP usage - The automation has not been approved to run in PiP mode. When run, it starts in the main session by default

Hi @gorby

Please refer below UiPath official docs.

Hi, @sharazkm32
Thank you for your reply!
I want to know why I can run PiP despite “the automation has not been approved to run in PiP mode”. Do you have a clear answer?

Difference lies while you run from the Assistant robot session

From studio - if you have tested the run in pip mode - you can select the Tested for PiP Usage; Starting in PiP option and publish to production so that when it runs from the assistant - it will run in pip mode by default.

If you dont want to run in pip by default - select the option Tested for PiP Usage; Not starting in PiP by default

If you haven’t tested in pip mode - keep the option as Not tested for PiP usage while deploying. So when someone changes the configuration from Assistant to run in pip mode - it will throw a warning highlighting that the process is not tested in pip mode

Hi @gorby
You can run PiP despite the “not approved to run in PiP mode” message because the approval setting is advisory and doesn’t fully block execution. it’s meant to notify users that the automation hasn’t been formally tested for production, but doesn’t prevent running the process.
