how to solve this? i have Enterprice license
If you’re encountering an error in UiPath Assistant stating that it’s connected to Orchestrator but unable to retrieve a license, there are several potential causes and troubleshooting steps you can take:
- Check License Availability: Ensure that you have available licenses in your Orchestrator tenant. Navigate to the License page in Orchestrator and verify the number of available licenses. If no licenses are available, you’ll need to either free up licenses or procure additional ones.
- License Allocation: Make sure that the user or robot connected to UiPath Assistant has been assigned a license in Orchestrator. Licenses need to be allocated to users or robots to be utilized.
- License Type Compatibility: Ensure that the license type assigned to the user or robot in Orchestrator is compatible with the type of robot you’re trying to run. For example, if you’re trying to run an attended robot, make sure the user has an attended robot license.
- Orchestrator Connectivity: Double-check the connection between UiPath Assistant and Orchestrator. Ensure that the Orchestrator URL, username, password, and tenancy details are correct.
- Firewall and Network Settings: Verify that there are no firewall or network restrictions blocking the communication between UiPath Assistant and Orchestrator. Sometimes, network configurations can prevent license retrieval.
- Restart UiPath Services: Try restarting the UiPath services on the machine where UiPath Assistant is installed. This can sometimes resolve connectivity issues and allow for the retrieval of licenses.
By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and resolve the “connected to Orchestrator but unable to retrieve a license” error in UiPath Assistant.
