Open folder while recording

Hello everyone!

I want to use UiPath Studio and record a process. In this process I need to open a folder, but when I want to open the folder while recording it won’t work. I double-clicked but then it only lets me change the name of the folder. When I right click the window pops up that I can save my recording. Does anyone have a solution?

Welcome to forums

While Recording, Hit F2, recording will be paused for few seconds, so that you can open the folder

Thank you. It works but I want to run the recorded process again. When I run it the folder doesn’t open since it didn’t get recorded because I paused it with F2. Any idea how I can overcome that problem?

Place manually a double click activity before the folder activity

this will open the folder
