OCR; PDF (image), Image manipulation, Monochrome, Contrast

Hello everyone,

Is there a way how to improve quality of pdf (containing scanned receipts with text) in UiPath? We scanned several documents with OCR (google engine), but our results differ in 70% of cases. We found some topics saying that enhancing the contrast would help in some cases, but we would prefer UiPath to automate improving of images and further scanning it with OCR. Any suggestions?

Hi,
No OCR is 100% accurate . But you can make use of Abby which is far better than Google and Microsoft OCR.

PS:For Abby OCR activity to work, you need to install ABBYY FineReader Engine and purchase a license for it.
