I am having trouble with my first OCR project. I am attempting to extract 10 fields from a PDF. After searching the forum and trying a few different options I am still having trouble.
I have created a sequence which opens a PDF file, I then use anchors to isolate the general area of the text which I need to extract where I finally use the select region to select where the text I want to extract is locate. The results return blank data. On a positive note, I have been able to extract a couple of fields successfully.
I have tried using anchors and get text yielding the same results. I have had little success selecting most of the fields individually, this is why I had to follow the anchor / region selection path. Is there a better approach?

Hello, I ended up solving my own problem. I hope this will help others who are new to OCR. I ended up downloading the Omipage OCR add on. This tool works great and was able to quickly pick up my fields that could not be identified by the included OCR.
