New user validation Fails

I have created a new user in Administration. They are assigned to a group.
When the user gets the invite link Clicking on it does nothing. We have tried using the URL and this will ask for their human name. They then have access to Orchestrator but not to the folder they are assigned. In administration The last login shows “Pending” and a Resend link. Sending again does the same.



In Orchestrator, Tenant, Manage Access, Access Rules the UI Profile does not show the Accounting folder as it does for other users.
We have tried deleting and recreating with the same result.

User must accept the invite while logged in with the same email / IdP account
• After acceptance, go to Orchestrator > Folders > Manage Access
• Explicitly add the user or their group to the Accounting folder with required roles
• Once folder access is added, the folder appears and status becomes Active

Try this if it’s works

Pending means the invite was not fully completed or the identity is not yet activated

Try to delete the user from administration and re-invite them using their specific directory account instead of a manual email invite.
the UI profile and folder access will automatically populate once the identity status updates from pending to an active login date.

We had a company name change. Everything in Orchestrator is legacy email addresses. I was attempting to use the legacy email as with everyone set up prior. When I deleted and reinvited using the new email, the invite link still didn’t work but the account was active and showed all folders. No idea what’s going on but it’s functional now. There should be an easier way to set up and configure users.
