Native Citrix Automation - functionality

Hi! I’m not clear on one thing - with the Native Citrix extension, I’m able to automate both - applications that are within Citrix as well as the ones outside of it? Or does instaling the Remote Runtime component mean, I will be able to automate only the applications within Citrix?

Can you pleae share, how has your experience with this extension been? I have no way of testing it out at this moment (don’t have Citrix apps on my computer) but I would like to know if it works well for future reference.

Hi,
the Citrix extension is adding the option to automate Citrix based applications using selectors like regular locally installed apps. All other functionality retain so you could still automate local apps.

I tested a simple scenario with Citrix based notepad and it worked very well.
