Move Orchestrator from UiPath Cloud to Custom Cloud

Hello,

Greetings of the day!!

I am working with a business that has a specific request. They have asked:

“Can we put the orchestrator on our Cloud instead of UiPath Cloud?”

As in, instead of going to cloud.uipath.com they can access cloud.[org name].com or maybe they want all information on their own cloud. That’s what I understood. I am just a developer.

I have heard about On-Premise orchestrator and while reading about it, I found it very overwhelming. Maybe I will need an IT person to setup and make it work. As we don’t have a dedicated RPA IT team, I will have to be sure of what I demand from the IT team of our organisation.

For that I need to understand how it will work or is it even possible.

I would start with basic questions that I have:

  • Does On-Premise mean that the Orchestrator will be hosted on a physical machine (local) or it can be on cloud?
  • If we are able to put in on cloud then will it work just like it does on cloud.uipath.com or do we need a workaround?
  • Will it affect the existing processes? If yes, then how?

I will be grateful even if only the above questions are answered. But I am looking to learn more about this and it would be really helpful if I could find the exact resources I need to do this setup.

@piyush.g

You can do on a physical system also, but ideally you would install on your own cloud vm. So basically you can install on your own cloud

No Workaround it works the same way…all the robots and all needs to be reconfigured accordingly

Processes would not be effected

These are the minimum configuration needed for on prem

also one thing on on prem you would not have integration services and studio web as of now…they are present only on cloud

also if you need ai center either a separate installation need to happen or can integrate the uiapth cloud ai center again

cheers

we recommend to check also:

as we do have

  • on premise / standalone
  • automation suite
  • UiPath Cloud / Automation Cloud

Thanks for replying @Anil_G and @ppr !!

I will check and update on it.
