Hi,
What are the minimum products needed to start with UiPath and Orchestrator on premises including hardware requirements?

  1. UiPath Studio for developing automation workflows. You will need a computer with at least 4GB RAM and a dual-core processor.

  2. UiPath Robot: The software that executes the automation workflows created in Studio. You will need a computer with at least 4GB RAM and a dual-core processor.

  3. UiPath Orchestrator: Centralised management and monitoring tool. You will need a server with at least 8GB RAM and a quad-core processor. The server should also have a minimum of 10GB of free disk space.

  4. SQL Server: Orch requires a SQL Server database to store data like logs, etc. You will need a SQL Server with at least 4GB RAM and a dual-core processor. The database should also have a minimum of 10GB of free disk space.

  5. Windows Server: You will need an OS to install UiPath Orchestrator and SQL Server. The recommended version is Windows Server 2012 R2 or later.

Along with the UiPath Enterprise Licence, some hardware requirements might differ from regular requirements, as DU uses GPU units & need higher machine capabilities. You can find the list of requirements for DU in the doc below:

Hi @arjunshenoy,

May I know the difference between
Step 3. Server. And step 5. Windows Server?

In addition is the machine discussed for Document Understanding in common with any of the machines mentioned or is it separate?
